Discover practical ways to use your Somerset Patriots NY Black Yankees Buckle Lanyard—from game day ID holder to everyday fan gear accessory.
Quick answer
The Somerset Patriots NY Black Yankees Buckle Lanyard works as a secure ID holder, keychain, and game day credential carrier—just attach your items and use the buckle closure to keep everything in place.
Why this lanyard stands out for game days
Unlike basic lanyards, the buckle closure adds security so your keys or ID won't slip off during a home run celebration. The black colorway matches most team apparel without clashing.
It's also lightweight enough to wear all day without feeling bulky, making it a practical choice for both stadium security checks and casual outings.
Trade-off: limited to small items
Because the lanyard is designed for credentials and keys, it won't hold a phone or wallet. If you need to carry more, pair it with a small bag or pocket gear.
How to use your Somerset Patriots lanyard
- Attach your ID badge or credentials: Slide the badge clip onto the lanyard ring. Ensure the clip is fully closed to avoid losing your ID during movement. Common mistake: using a loose clip that can snap open when bumped. Check the clip tension before each use.
- Add your keys: Thread your key ring through the lanyard's split ring or buckle loop. Keep only essential keys to avoid weighing down the lanyard. Too many keys can strain the buckle. Limit to 2-3 keys for comfortable wear.
- Secure the buckle and wear it: Snap the buckle closed around your neck or attach it to a bag strap. Adjust the length so the lanyard hangs at chest level for easy access. Check that the buckle is fully engaged before moving—partial closure can release unexpectedly.
