In case you were wondering, you don't need to be "alternate" in any way to buy and wear this jersey. For instance, you don't have to be an alternate on the Men's or Women's U.S. Figure Skating Team. Nor do you have to love alternative rock music. The "alternate" really just means that the team will wear this one whenever they feel like it. You should buy one and do the same!

The fabric weight is heavier than I expected for a retail jersey, which is a good thing. Wore it to a game last weekend and it didn't wrinkle at all even after two hours in the car.

The stitching on the lettering is really clean, no loose threads anywhere after a few washes. Fit runs true to size and it's comfortable enough to wear all nine innings without feeling stiff.

Wore this to a game last weekend and the stitching on the lettering held up great through a full day of wear. The fabric is heavier than my old replica jersey, which I actually prefer for cooler nights at the ballpark.
